replying to u/RedditorGal212: You're not missing anything with Ritz - it's so underwhelming. I have no idea how they get away with their terrible food. EJ's is also great, I really enjoy their breakfast and the service is always very good. A pain to get a table on most weekends, but it's definitely a fan favorite. Three Guys - wouldn't recommend to anyone!

replying to u/Party-Veterinarian60: +1 to second avenue deli, but heads up that this (and most) jewish delis are astronomically expensive. Plus, the fees across all platforms (doordash, grubhub, ubereats) are particularly high. That said, 2nd avenue deli literally calls their matzo ball soup "Jewish Penicillin" and as one of the tribe - I most certainly cosign that statement

replying to u/shamam: Sazerac house, EJ’s luncheonette (6th Ave), the old Rockmeisha location (new one isn’t as nice inside), Sushi Azabu, The Bagel, Bar Sardine… there was some place in the financial district that had this amazing thanksgiving leftover sandwich but I can’t remember the name.. their fries were amazing as well.
