  • replying to u/Barkis_Willing: Orchard Grocer always and forever.

When the right people are working it can be really good. When the wrong people are working it's not worth the effort.

  • replying to u/independent_hustler: I tried so hard to love this place. When the right people are working it can be really good. When the wrong people are working it's not worth the effort. I live in the neighborhood. They don't prioritize walk-ins. I waited 25 minutes the first time and 35 minutes the second. I was the only person in the store. They just made all the online orders before mine. Like, as the tickets came out, not like, who was waiting. If you must, order online and pick up.

a lot of the standard menu items also kinda have like the same under taste or something.

  • replying to u/RoeMajesta: superiority burger is kinda far from you but it’s legitimately a solid spot; just dont feel obliged to get the burger itself. Literally get everything else, especially their desserts i think mediterranean places in brooklyn like miss ada, olea, and theodora have solid vegan by default (i think) dips and grilled veggies

  • Orchard Grocer is a great place for vegan sandwiches, snacks and soft serve ice cream. Whatever vegan substitute they use for their Ceasar and Cobb salads are exceptionally good.

  • Breakfast Sandwiches from ‘Orchard Grocer’ in LES and ‘A.T.M Deli’ in Bed-Stuy, anything from ‘Aunts et Uncles’ in Flatbush, boeuf bourguignon from ‘Delice & Sarrasin’ in the w village is my favorite meal in the city
