replying to u/Unlikely-Guess3775: I would recommend: - Davelle for creative Japanese breakfast toasts paired with excellent coffee - Yi Ji Shi Mo in Chinatown for cheong fun, a popular Hong Kong breakfast item consisting of steamed rice rolls - For innovative pastries as others have suggested, Librae Bakery. Bakeri and Radio Bakery are also good options - For classic French patisserie, can’t beat La Bicyclette in Williamsburg - For an old school diner breakfast experience, Waverly Diner is the most consistent IMO. La Bonbonniere is overhyped - For bagels, either Murray’s on 6th av or Edith’s in Williamsburg (controversial choice) - Al-Aqsa in Bay Ridge has an excellent Palestinian breakfast egg sandwich served on their famous ka’ek bread - Baro 1376 in Jackson Heights for their Tibetan breakfast thali - Take the PATH train to Jersey City to Sapthagiri for their weekend South Indian all you can eat breakfast buffet (ends at 11 usually)
