Around the corner there is librae bakery that has a great pistachio rose croissant among other things - La cabra (also has great coffee) - smor bakery - petit chou - spot dessert bar - posh pop bakeshop - the donut pub - venieros - cafe panna

replying to u/wipny: > 3) La Cabra: 8/10 - This is a repeat visit for us. The famous cardamom bun is nowhere near as good as it was a couple of years ago. It's now tougher and lacking in cardamom flavor. That's disappointing. I remember trying my first cardamom bun from there when they first opened and loving it so much that I bought the ingredients to make it at home. Green cardamom is expensive so I wonder if they've scaled back due to rising costs. I've been meaning to try the one at Smor Bakery. Have you tried Fabrique Bakery's version? I agree with you about La Cabra's croissant. Super flaky shell that shatters everywhere when you bite into it.
