A-Pou's Taste

AI-generated summary

The $8 lunch special is what people come back for, especially the pork. Regulars also name the , the eggplant with garlic sauce and the three cup chicken. Not everyone agrees. A few say the food is bland and that the came out rubbery. A-Pou runs it herself and people like her as much as the food.

The lunch special pork is so fantastic. Usually I don't really enjoy the fat knob on that cut of meat but theirs is so flavorful and it melts in your mouth I eat every morsel.

it was not edible. The noodles in the beef soup were like rubber and the pork belly was so fatty and swimming in oil.

I’m personally a fan of her basil chicken, which I think is a 3 cup chicken. Very savory and great flavor. The Lu Rou fan I thought was good. I also love the potstickers - you can’t go wrong with any of the choices.

Their staff just ignored me and chatted it up with a customer for some trivial bullshit. I figured to give it a minute or two since I wasn't in too much after a rush, but they just chatted on and on till I just left. I'd rather support the grandma's at Apou's.

A-Pou’s Taste is amazing. Great food at a good price. And a-pou herself is so sweet and friendly.
