Spring Shabu Shabu

AI-generated summary

All you can eat in Flushing where everyone gets their own pot, so a table with different diets all eats what it wants. The veggie and mushroom bar is the reason people go, and there's a vegetarian . The one gripe is that the runs weak compared to other spots. Plan on it being your only meal that day.

  • However, I just find Spring Shabu Shabu to be a more impressive place. Happy Lamb is good, but the buffet looks understandably messy especially during peak times. Spring Shabu Shabu is so impressive to me in how their buffet is always perfectly stocked and clean, at least when I’ve gone.

  • Spring Shabu Shabu is probably the most veg friendly in the city. Not only do they have a veg broth option, but the unlimited veggies/noodles/tofu options is very impressive.

  • Spring Shabu Shabu has a veg base and it's ayce veg, I think the cost:quality has fallen off a bit in the last few years though.

Dolar Shop in the East Village also has a vegetarian broth option and is good because it's personal hotpot as well so you don't have to share broth with any non-vegetarians.

    Very pescatarian friendly though.

  • replying to u/lithium900mg: Spring Shabu Shabu probably has the largest selection for vegans, but most places will be able to accommodate

Seconding this spring shabu is a great idea since everyone gets an individual pot!

  • replying to u/justflipping: Have you looked into Indian places like Vatan? Or hotpot places like Spring Shabu Shabu?

I second that as well Spring Shabu Shabu a very nice spot. Udon noodles and all the veggies you can possibly want.
