replying to u/guatemamaLF: I used to go to my neighborhood deli and get a free bucket of pickles with anything I ordered, like an actual bucket, paint can sized. Those were the days… It’s been about 4 years since that place closed and I still think about them. Otherwise I go to Liebmans, but I don’t particularly like any Manhattan based Delis, sorry. Jacob’s Pickles and The Pickle Guys are pretty famous but I’d honestly say their pickles are mid and not worth the time or money (because you would also usually order other food when visiting them too). If you’re purely going to delis for pickles, and not any other food, it might be easier to just pick up a jar from a market/store and eat them on a park bench with your fingers as god intended. Grillos pickles (while not kosher pickles) eaten cold in the sun, slaps.
