replying to u/SuurRae: I've been to Masa, Sushi Ginza (no longer open), Per Se, Le Bernardin, Brooklyn Fare, and Daniel. Enjoyed all of them. I would find it extremely hard to rank them based on food alone, but I will say the best service I had was at Per Se, followed closely by Sushi Ginza. The waiter at Le Bern essentially forgot about us (and our wine pairing) during our tasting menu and service was...perfunctory. Brooklyn Fare had amazing food but the chef was a complete asshole and I'm not surprised to hear he's being sued. Masa was great, but I felt it was overpriced compared to Sushi Ginza. Looking forward to going to Atomix next month and seeing how that compares to the rest.
