  • Their chocolate chip cookies are made with sea salt and rye, and they are comparable to some that I also just recently ate in Paris. The croissants not sweet at all, and the chocolate ones are barely sweet (very good quality semi-sweet chocolate).

  • vanilla soft serve pairs very nicely with their choc cake. Also liked the pistachio

  • Somedays is great. I live close to the one in Astoria. The black sesame tahini is perfection, and if you like savory the spinach ricotta bun is also a favorite. They also have seasonal pastries that are very good

  • Probably their best flavored croissant! They have an incredible plain croissant too. Have had less success with their other flavors, but this one is amazing

  • replying to u/Lower_Confusion5072: I agree with you about golden diner-awful really and we really wanted to like it ! I think the ice cream at Panna on Irvington place is overrated however when I mentioned I got a bad cup of ice cream people went insane like I insulted their family or something serious. Dominique Ansel makes a wonderful quiche and I love the Kougin Aman there so much

Some examples: don angie black cocoa affogato sundae, somedays black sesame tahini croissant affogato sundae, sungold tomato basil sundae, tiramisu soft serve were all out of this world

  • They are good (also near the Astoria/OG location) but they are expensive. Their flavors are very creative so worth a try if you're curious

  • Expensive but the breads are heftier than most other places. You can make a meal of one if you’re not starving.
