replying to u/crazeman: Rice to Riches have been opened for as long as I can remember but I always found them to be super mid. To be fair, I've never had any other rice pudding in my life so I don't have anything to compare it against. I'm always surprised that they are still opened whenever I walk by and I'm also very surprised that they manage to open a 2nd location in LES recently. [Their owner was busted for laundering money](https://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/22/business/businessspecial/beyond-the-pudding-a-mystery.html) so there's always rumors that Rice to Riches was a front for money laundering lol.

Morgensterns bananas and seed and mill at Chelsea market for soft serve as well Brodo (bone broth) has a few locations and is very good! Where else on earth are you going to find a store that specializes in many flavors of rice pudding AND has the only in New York kind of history? Cookies are everywhere and travel easily, wild flavors of rice pudding are a rarer commodity.
