replying to u/throwawayzies1234567: Steak Frites is a good choice for steak and French, near the Marquis. Marseille is also very Paris Bistro atmosphere. And the Boucherie restaurants are all good - the one on 53rd street (La Grabd Boucherie) is particularly charming, and one of my favorite spots.
