replying to u/CabassoG: Sundaes and Cones (East Village, excellent Maple Walnut but also has a lot of Asian flavors and others) and Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain (Carroll Gardens) have a good maple walnut. I've heard good things about the new Julia Jean's (Alphabet City) but I haven't been and they don't have Maple Walnut. Non-traditional- Sundae's Best (Koreatown, mostly Korean inspired flavors but all good) Morgenstern's (The Village, 75 to choose from, a bit pricey) Chinatown Ice Cream Factory (a bunch of locations, has a mix of normal and Asian flavors, a bit pricey)
