replying to u/yung_millennial: Always have been. Before all these places opened up stickey’s used to have a 15-20 minute long line just to get in, in the west village. There are too many now, but it’s also because America eats more chicken than any other meat. It’ll drop in 5-10 years just like every other food trend does. Best chicken is unironically Popeyes, chick fil a, or Jollibees during the lunch rush. Best non fast food chicken is probably Sweet Chick or Rowdy Rooster. I’ve heard great stuff about Streetbird but haven’t had a chance to check it out yet.
