replying to u/Unlikely-Guess3775: Neither Shuka nor Pera Soho are going to be life-changing Mediterranean meals, but they're generally reliable fun spaces where it's not too hard to snag a reservation. You could also try venturing south into Tribeca and do Casa Carmen, or east into Chinatown and do The Tyger - all not too hard to get a res.
