Jones Wood Foundry

5.3/10American

AI-generated summary

People go for the scotch egg, the welsh rarebit and the savory pies, and the english breakfast has its fans. The splits people hard, some call the batter light and delicious, others got a soggy plate with barely any under it. Regulars say the quality swings, meals land either great or inedible, and service complaints come up a lot.

No fish, all batter, but maybe this is how it’s supposed to be. Just thought it was a supremely greasy dish that tasted only fried

  • The service was the worst I have ever experienced by a country mile, and my friend's "bacon steak" arrive completely raw. We were genuinely shocked they even brought it out.

I've had an English breakfast from Jones Wood Foundry and it was pretty good.

Jones Wood is dope. Their savory pies are so good.

Eager to hear other suggestions!

The pork rinds were .. inedible? Was there a trick, like soaking them?? Otherwise, food was OK, but not a cuisine I'd revisit unless I was in the area.
