  • I've tried it all - from shitty street carts to fancy ass michelin star restaurants and nothing beats Farook's chicken biryani.

  • Maybe not “the best” but solid when the craving hits, for the value, or convenient

  • Both are 7$ for lamb or chicken, come with a pita on top, and stack up to most other carts in the city. I like the chicken at Santa’s and lamb at Farook’s.

  • replying to u/thehalalguysguy: NYU students already know this, but among the 20+ halal trucks within a block of Union Square and NYU's Palladium, Santa Halal is S-Tier. The chicken is chunky and spiced to perfection, veggies are super fresh and include crisp cucumbers, and the red sauce is has a smoky and flavorful kick. The only other cart that might have a claim to the throne other than Santa is...the closest one to it, [Farooks](https://www.instagram.com/p/CgsCv4cPV9K/?img_index=1). Which is better? For me it changes every time I have either, but would love to hear your thoughts. • Farook has great lamb, and puts free pita and then layers it with extra white sauce.
