replying to u/wipny: Chelsea Market food hall has a good selection of restaurants. My favorite is Los Mariscos. They sell seafood tacos made with freshly made tortillas as well as raw seafood and ceviche. Remember to ask for the free sample of shrimp broth while you're waiting. Their sister restaurant Los Tacos No 1 is around the corner and really popular too. There's a Chinese hand pulled noodle shop that's also popular. If you're in Midtown East around the 40's I recommend Nom Nam for Vietnamese food. They make my absolute favorite beef pho in the city. Nothing better than a nice hearty bowl of noodle soup this time of year.

replying to u/Garconavecunreve: Morgensterns has a huge rotating menu - some more unusual, some more common Salt and Straw and Cafe Panna are both heavily focused on mix-in combinations (both have weekly specials/ changing flavours) - in general the flavours are very sugar heavy imo Tipsy Scoop does cocktail/ drink inspired flavours (both boozy and non-alcoholic), I can only vouch for the alcohol free ones, they’re pretty good Smoove and Chinatown ice cream factory for Asian dominant flavour profiles Seed and Mills tahini soft serve is pretty unique

replying to u/bkhalfpint: I recently tried Milk Bar's cereal milk soft serve at the location near the Ace in Manhattan. It was TERRIBLE and I was really sad. That soft serve was my favorite. You won't be disappointed by Seed + Mill. I put it off for a long time, but it made me love tahini even more. I got the sundae with regular + chocolate swirl and now by the halva when I'm feeling rich.
