La Bonbonniere

5.9/10American

AI-generated summary

Get the pancakes. People call them some of the best in the city, and the with bacon gets named too. It's cash only and there are very few tables. Go for breakfast and expect a diner, not great food. Service is a coin flip, and regulars say it slipped after COVID.

La bonboniere is fucking gross. It’s legitimately filthy. Of all the places to go in the west village it’d be last on my list.

  • the food was never anything great, but it was fun and atmospheric. I think if you go expecting the food to be anything but average diner fare, you’ll be disappointed.

Been many times and the service has always been great.

  • La Bonbonniere has some of the best pancakes in the city! I used to live around the corner and ate there 3-4 days/week 🤤

  • La Bonbonniere is just exactly what you expect imo - a diner. No extravagant food, a bit rough and loud but for me it hits the spot if I want a diner experience.
