replying to u/Epic_Finance: If you are focused solely on distance, Eataly in Flatiron is right by Kips Bay. There’s Ceriello on 42nd Street and Russo’s on 11th Street. Fairway has a large selection, but it’s more like a standard grocery store.

Their store sells a lot of Italian goods and have a butcher counter. This is their flagship store and they've been around since 1966. [Papa Pasquale](https://maps.app.goo.gl/7ymWbrMypLEpeMwT8) is a small Italian grocery store that's few blocks away from Pastosa and is also supposed to have pretty good home made ravioli but I have not tried them yet. [Kimchi Kooks Kate's Kitchen](https://maps.app.goo.gl/z6ixyCDRvPRFwehc7) is in Bay Ridge and they make their own Kimchi. They also sell a slew of home made Korean ban chan. [Sunrise Mart](https://maps.app.goo.gl/53y145VyjM2A8JXA7) in Japan Village/Industry City is your typical Sun Rise Mart/Japanese grocery store in NYC but I want to highlight this specific location because they have a Japan Premium Beef meat counter where they sell wagyu. There's also an always empty, not very well known booth in the back corner of the store where they sell freshly made tofu products and Japanese Natto. They also have housemade Kimchi in the fridge right when you first walk in. (The kimchi is not as good as Kimchi Kooks' but I think it's better than the brand I find in Chinese supermarkets.
