Assuming you want to stay in manhattan these are better alternatives: Torrisi - Rezdora (Italian food leaves much to be desired in NYC) Corner Store - the Eighty Six, Au Cheval, Maison Pickle Polo Bar - Monkey bar, the Grill, Minetta Tavern
