Not in Brooklyn but Little Pie Company in midtown around Hell’s Kitchen has their sour cream apple pie which is like really good. I remember once I had dinner with my friends who are married and I watched them like kinda fight over a slice of it. Like imo that shop is still around after all these years because of that pie in particular.

replying to u/jewree: I went a few weeks ago for pies - Bubby's was originally a pie shop, and I was curious how they were, as everyone seems to rave mostly about brunch/pancakes and this city doesn't really have any standout pie places, and I had a craving. I was pretty let down - the peanut butter chocolate was the best of the bunch and it was nice to see banoffee on a menu, but the fruit pies were pretty blah, and in particular, all the crusts were just not very good, no flaky crusts here. And all served cold, even the fruit pies a la mode. Boo.
