replying to u/manicakes1: High end pasta is honestly kind of a scam in Manhattan. $26 to $32 for a tiny portion of well executed pasta is not a good experience. These pretty restaurants in the village (L'Artusi, Fiaschetteria, etc) need to triple their portion sizes to make me reconsider. Until then I'll make it at home and/or go to humbler "red sauce" joints.
