replying to u/kokoromelody: Not sure if this counts bc it's technically not served in bread basket at each table, but the bread tray at Le Bernardin which is brought around during lunch + dinner is also superb. You can ask for several pieces at a time and in my experience, they make sure to come over to each table multiple times over the course of a meal. Not on the list, but Scarpetta's bread basket (with the calzone bread) is also fantastic,
