    That Go Go Curry has fallen so far that it's not worth going anymore. Last time I went, I ordered a fish katsu and they legit fried a frozen fish filet sandwich patty and then chopped it up.

  • replying to u/fluffycatsinabox: Sunrise is not even close imo, Go Go Curry is fantastic. Sad to discover they’re closing, I haven’t found Japanese curry as good in nyc. 

    Theirs is the most basic generic Japanese curry there is. The only thing good about them is the convenience of adding different meat toppings. Otherwise, the curry is the very definition of mediocre.
