“Hopefully this was a one-off, but the veal Milanese at a recent visit was under-seasoned (actually, not at all seasoned) and meat quality wasn’t great. The other dishes (pasta, seafood appetizer, veggie side) and their service more than made up for it though.”

replying to u/Remarkable-Towel-173: I second this. Rubirosa, despite any social media hype, has been in business for over a decade with little change in quality. Beyond pizza, the menu offers great pastas, the best rice balls in the city, and an amazing octopus. I have held multiple family and client events here and it is always my first recommendation for anyone out of town looking for a fun and typically NYC night out. Have not found a better pizza then the Rubirosa Supreme- anywhere.
