I look at the menu I am like wait where is the beans and collard greens and then I noticed nothing but chicken tenders on the menu. I asked the staff they said oh we only do tenders now. I ran the hell out of there and started crying LOL. What a bad break up.

replying to u/yvega392: Yes I really liked Puya Tacos de Puebla their chicken taco was delicious. Hokkaido was also very good. I bought some treats to bring back home and they made sure to package them carefully and they make it back to Texas in one piece. Bobwhite Cesar salad wrap was amazing definitely try it.

I've heard that generally they aren't good in NYC, because the flower that is commonly used for biscuits is difficult to source north of Virginia. I only got it this time, because it was an unplanned lunch and I walked in here. I will check out bubby's. I am sure I will want a southern fix from time to time.

replying to u/CityRes03: Jacobs Pickles was my first thought. Wonder what made their version so overly sweet? Not that popular of an item in NYC, might be hard to find. I would check menu's for Virgil's BBQ, Bob White Counter, or maybe diner's such as Murray Hill or Westway.
