replying to u/foodfunmenyc: This is pretty generic, but I love the Cuban sandwich from Sophie’s Cuban, are they’re more authentic ones in the city, probably, but my office is by one and we get it sometimes and is very good. We always order, extra pickles, extra green sauce. I’ve always liked all the other food I’ve tried there too

replying to u/helcat: Amy’s! Get an oat scone, even if you don’t like scones. Especially if you don’t like scones! Everything they do is amazing. Also Sullivan Street has wonderful bread. Frena and Norma are terrific restaurants. Pure is the best Thai. The halal truck on the corner of 50th and 9th is good. Kashkaval has great dips and fondue. Sacco pizza is usually terrific though my last pie there was disappointing. Hope it was just a glitch. There are ton of new places I haven’t tried yet.
