replying to u/kairos91: Chez ma tante takes the (pan)cake for both best and most distinct pancake in New York City, if you do one ‘out of your way’ pancake I’d do that one. I love the blueberry compote at Clinton st and think it’s a great pancake. I’d go early or late and try to avoid a line if you can because it isn’t life changing. You can try the timeout market Clinton st. Also a line but it’s a more touristy area so you can make a morning out of dumbo and do some sightseeing while you wait. Golden diner in Chinatown is a top 3 pancake for me as well and everything else there is amazing as well. Best ‘meal’ on my list. Not a long wait typically if you get there around opening.

replying to u/tams420: I know people trash this place on here, but La Pecora Bianca has really good tiramisu. Maybe a touch too much cream but it’s better than most that that I’ve had in the city. The downside is that it’s only one size and in a big plastic container and it’s way too much for two. Good part is you can just go in and buy a container and eat it on the couch and have left overs. I hope Im remembering correctly, there’s a spot Local 92 in the EV that had great tiramisu. It’s been a very long time though. I do remember their lamb shank was 🔥 but that doesn’t help you here.
