“It's my favorite of the delis. The prices are more reasonable and the quality of the corned beef is better than Katz's not to mention everything else outside of the pastrami which is marginally worse but $10 cheaper.”

“Big fan of Sarge’s Deli on 3rd Ave and 36th/37th (brunch there and then the Morgan is favorite fall/winter activity of ours). Prices for individual items may look high, but portions are huge/shareable and their corned beef/pastrami and smoked fish are fantastic.”

“We ended up at Sarge's and I loved it! Thanks to those who suggested it. I really enjoyed their pastrami. I liked the thin cut, great seasoning, very moist, served hot.”

“Sarges was my single worst meal in my recent NYC trip. One of the things I was looking forward to the most, and it was horribly ordinary.”

“I liked it! They use both elbows and little shells, a mix of both. The pasta was not mushy. There were bits of carrots and something green (tiny bits of green pepper? Green onion? I'm not sure), but these mix-ins were minimal, they added a little color and crunch. It was creamy but not drowning in mayo. Well seasoned and flavorful. 4/5.”
