People here hate it. The usual description is food cooked elsewhere and reheated in a small kitchen, at prices that don't match. The common advice is that it's only worth ordering with a coupon. A few regulars push back and say the and the are fine. Most everyone else says the , the and the are bad.

  • replying to u/Title26: I was ready to not hate and gave it a chance, but their food really does suck. Even something easy like a chicken sandwich was bad.

The chicken sandwich was AWFUL. We got an offer in the mail for something ridiculous where our meal was basically free back when they first opened in the city. More breading than chicken and it wasn't crispy. Almost stale?

Detroit Brick from Wonder was single-handedly the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Literally tasteless dough with Chef Boyardee sauce slapped on top. Disgusting.

  • replying to u/Emjlok: For a while they had a deal where you could get 15$ free, and I would make fake phone numbers to get free food a few times…. It’s shocking how bad nearly everything they make is. I also documented a huge number of their five star reviews are Wonder staff

It’s no wonder the food taste bad when they are optimized like a factory. With that said, it’s hard to mess up Poke so at least that’s the one mildly ok thing to get there if you’re getting a huge discount to order

I’ve found nothing on Wonder to be even close to what the original restaurant tastes like. Seems like a micro kitchen with limited ingredients they just reheat for every dish. Only reason to eat there is you have a coupon

  • replying to u/Knowledgelearns: Check out Wonder. They have all these restaurants under one roof for pick up or delivery. One of the restaurants is from Jonathan Waxman and they have his roast chicken on the menu. I believe it is similar to the one you would find at Barbuto.

Wonder literally just microwaves food that’s been cooked in a warehouse a few days ago. There are no actual hobs on the premises. It’s like fancy ready meals.

  • replying to u/bikerfriend: I have wondered about wonder anyone tried? I love Charles pan fried chicken

the salad was one of the worst I’ve ever eaten

I used to work there, great experience but the food is overly priced dog food garbage.

  • Twice was enough. For reference, I got boneless wings which were probably ground chicken with a disgusting texture the other time just fries and they were passable at best.

  • Overall I just like being able to indulge in a variety of foods and have lots of leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day so I really enjoy the food-hall delivery concept.

  • So salty, some crunchy noodles, and very weird eggs/chicken. Notttt good but at least it was only $8?
