AI-generated summary

The food is genuinely Thai spicy and people are not exaggerating. Regulars point to the kua kling and the . The is the one that wrecks people. Go early, they hit capacity fast and dishes sell out. A few say the heat drowns the flavor, but most think it's worth it.

  • Delightful, and the word-of-mouth regarding spice was true; my stomach afterwards felt like a small glowing meteorite.

  • replying to u/PurryMurris: I would avoid the duck laab salad for sure, that's one of the spiciest experiences I've had. Other things were a pretty normal amount of spicy

The duck salad crossed a barrier that I didn't even know was possible, where it wasn't even spicy anymore, it just straight up *hurt.*

  • Absolute flames 🔥 - Perfect combo of spice and sweetness - Meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and soft - Each dish was SO flavorful; it was hard to pick our favorite

  • replying to u/Artistic-Dot-2279: Ugly baby… ordering all at once even before we knew what the food tasted like or how much there was. Everyone treated us with attitude including regarding the spice. It made us want to go elsewhere. For the price and the hype, I expect more. We weren’t impressed with the food either.

I will say I'm not a big fan of Ugly Baby though. I love spicy food but it was far too aggressive here, and they just put all the dishes on the table as they come out, which made it uncomfortably cramped.

  • replying to u/superangry2: Dhamaka is spicy for the sake of being spicy and can turn into more of an ordeal than a meal. Ugly baby is similar.

Yes. Did not like. And my entree had so much spice in it that it was gritty. Like eating gravel. Not great.

  • I got the kang moo f#ck tong (pork belly, kabocha squash, red curry). Delightful, and the word-of-mouth regarding spice was true; my stomach afterwards felt like a small glowing meteorite.

  • It felt rushed and felt like we were being lied to the entire time. Extremely disappointing after having such great food there for so long.
