“Truthfully we found the entire I Sodi experience overrated. We had all the classics (fried artichokes, lasagne, etc.) - the fried artichokes were extremely mediocre and while the lasagne presented well it was dry/bland.”

“I had the worst meal of my life at I Sodi. I had a reservation right when they opened and think they gave me leftovers from the day prior. We ordered both lasagnas and the vegetarian one was sweet - in a really terrible way. Lasagna noodles were way overcooked.”

“I Sodi - Lasagna is VERY mid, and do not get the rabbit porchetta: VERY salty, and kale does not work well with the meat.”
H3
“Woefully mediocre lasagna. Thick sheets of pasta, tomato-paste like “sauce”, dry shavings of sawdust parm on top.”
H3
“I like their specials the best. They had a large format dry aged steak the last time I went and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in NYC. That said, the place is a bit of a WV preppy club and I’m probably not the audience for that scene, so it’s not in my top list.”
H3
“I didn’t find it to be dry at all. I’d say it was at least 12layers and the flavour was something else. Growing up in an Italian family and having eaten my fair share over the years, it was one of the best I’ve ever had.”
H3
“The service at I Sodi is pretentious and I found it to be overrated. Not worth the hype at all. The bowl of cacio e pepe was a cheesy mess without any depth.”
H3
“I thought I Sodi was super mid. The pastas were overall bland yet too salty (pre-dominant flavor was salt).”
H3
“I’m eating my leftovers from I Sodi as I write this, including the lasagna, and I have to say, I am incredibly underwhelmed. The lasagna is bland, yet very salty, and the pasta is mushy”
H3
“I was disappointed by I Sodi - the lasagna was OK, but I found the flavors across dishes to be weak / mild, and the ingredients did not stand out as particularly noteworthy or high quality which you often see when they lower the flavor profile, so overall just found the meal very mediocre.”

“A tremendous dish, the sauce is more mild and doesn't have a big tomato punch. Great for a large group since it's a quite large and dense”

“I was so excited to snag a reservation at I sodi only to be super disappointed. I ordered the pork Milanese and found it inedible and tasting of old oil.”
H2

H2
“I really wanted to love it but the pasta was bland and overcooked”
