Eleven Madison Park

4.3/10

AI-generated summary

Everyone agrees on the service. People describe being escorted to the bathroom, water glasses that never drop below half, and staff who research you before you arrive. The food splits the room. Since the vegan switch some call it elegant and some call it bland and oversalted, and several say the bread was the only dish they remember. Dinner runs three to four hours and people report close to $1000 for the evening.

  • EMP’s 20 year retrospective was for the most part pretty enjoyable. There weren’t really any seriously egregious dishes nor were there any big standouts. It all hovered between good and very good.

  • Overall - everything was very tasty & pleasant but nothing really blew me away.

  • We had a terrific time at a birthday meal. Perhaps the best service I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely lovely people, from the hosts / hostesses to the bartenders to the servers.

  • replying to u/RockCT21: Can I ask how much it came to our person with the wine tasting? I had an available reservation time, but didn't book because of a last minute business trip. Still debating if I try again for a good date night.

The whole evening - including one lingering pre-dinner drink at the bar - came close to $1000, with tip (which was deserved, because the service was terrific). Still, it’s a breathtaking amount of money. I’m glad we had the experience, but I can’t ever see doing it again.

  • EMP excels at this. They are known to google anything they can find out about you once you book -- not to be creepy, but to provide this sort of experience! They want to know who you are so that they cater their entire evening to you. Truly a remarkable place to eat.

  • The service was incredible, the food was plated beautifully - they even took us back to the kitchen for a tour (at this was the cheapest bar area seating we could get).

  • i personally thought it was really interesting to see how creative the food is and how much depth and flavor everything had without animal products. i had never been to a 3 michelin star restaurant before and was absolutely blown away by the service.
