Get the . It's the spicy one and it's what people still recommend even when they're down on the place. Plenty of regulars say quality fell off after the move, with greasy floppy slices and a that's just fine. The line is slow and the counter staff have a reputation for attitude.

  • I went to Scarr’s last night and sadly confirmed that its quality has totally fallen off.

Most overrated pie ever. I recently went in on a Thursday at 5pm and waited in 25 min just to get to the register.

  • replying to u/Loofah1: I went last night, too. Their system for slices is crazily inefficient: customer dithers over what to order, customer orders and pays, next person waits until their slices are heated and served, repeat. You can sit at the bar after (if you’re just ordering slices), but the bartender goes AWOL frequently. Pizza was 3/5.

My slices were also a little too burnt when I got them; I don’t mind some char but I’m not going to eat a fully black bubble of overcooked crust.

Scarrs is good fresh but their signature taste comes from letting the pizza sit for extended times at room temp to go stale- before they reheat it and serve it.

  • replying to u/bedofhoses: No one seems to be mentioning Scarrs. That is the best slice I have had.

Because it fell off years ago at this point. In 2015 it was really something interesting, not just the pizza but the vibe. But the more popular it got, the less consistent it was, and then the workers act like weed shop burnouts instead of a pizziolo with pride.

Was there this past weekend. Very thin but strangely tough and chewy. Our jaws got tired from eating a plain cheese slice
