  • I am not new to the city, I am not spice-averse, and I am well-traveled and well-cultured enough to understand what Tatiana is trying to achieve, and yet, it just fell flat.

  • Everything was AMAZING! Perfectly cooked, super flavorful without being overpowering, and phenomenal sauces/sides! The oxtails here were the best I’ve ever had!

  • Definitely disappointing food for the price point. Egusi under flavored, Okra over charred, shrimp over cooked, and random but the knives are for ascetics and not practicality. If you are on the fence about this place take it from me and eat somewhere else.

  • We went a week ago and were pretty disappointed. The service was great but the food was expensive for what it was. Pastrami was dry, the curried goat patties and crab/ oxtail Rangoon was food cart quality.

  • replying to u/swaee99: i hear such different opinions on this restaurant.. curious to know which is more true

Also, for a Carribean- Nigerian fusion spot, as someone who is Nigerian, the Nigerian fusion food is little subpar for what they try to fuse

  • replying to u/Snoo-18544: Tatiana became a letdown because their prices went up. Not because their food was bad.  They essentially cashed in on their success.

I’ve been to Tatiana a few times and I think the food ranges from good (corn bread) to excellent (goat patties and pastrami suya). If you don’t go into it thinking it’s going to be a life changing meal I think it’s very enjoyable

  • a lot of the food we had was really tasty, but the only thing that sticks with me is the amateurish staff.
